A covenant is a choice to create a formal, solemn and binding agreement between two or more parties or individuals. Once agreed, it becomes a harmonization and bringing together of like views, ways and character between two or more individuals. Covenant relationships are constructed on trust, agape love and commitment. God is a God who is all about covenants and principles. He made a covenant with us without us truly knowing about it until we come into understanding about His grace and salvation. Because of this, everything we do with other people, causes and things are truly based on covenant. Even the Bible has layers of covenants. Some of these covenants are: Noahic Covenant (Genesis 6:18 and 9:8-17), the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 15:1-21 and 17:1-22), the Mosaic Covenant (Exodus 19-20,24) the Priestly Covenant (Numbers 25:10-13) the Davidic Covenant (2 Samuel 7:12-16) and the New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34). Breaking covenant is a continuous choice of not keeping one’s word, promise or vow. This type of practice brings about tremendous spiritual ramifications. Often we question why so many things begin to take place in our life that brings about destruction. We never truly examine this particular open door. When we break covenant, we lie.  This lying creates an atmosphere of heartache, famine, lack, sickness, instability and curses. We give Satan legal entry into our lives. Satan then manipulates us into to believing that there is nothing wrong with changing our minds. This teaching will empower you to understand covenant, select covenant relationships wisely and to choose spiritual alignment.

Each wind, the north, south, east and west, have been assigned specific instructions and directions. Their intricate details are always the same. The courses that each one takes as an individual wind or as a partnership are an undeniably force to be reckoned with. They create calmness as well as calamity. For each particular wind spawns our storms. From the windstorm to the typhoon, the winds must be recognized.Each storm has it’s own identity, yet follows a set path. Each tornado as wild as they may seem, know exactly what they have been assigned to do. Every hurricane and typhoon are strategic as they mark their course of destruction. Every squaw line bows as an arrow ready to hit its target. These are signs of the winds of change. The north wind brings in the cool air. It calms the earth and denies the other three winds the complete authority to destroy the earth. The south wind instigates and agitates to create an atmosphere of chaos. It brings the necessary warm air that starts the war of power. The east wind is the wind of destruction. You can always tell when a storm is approaching when the east wind roars. And finally, the west wind; this is the wind of change. It politely escorts the destruction out of atmosphere while bringing a breeze of peace.

Some of us have created our own storms. We so carelessly interpret the atmosphere and neglect our responsibility in recognizing the changes in the climate. We often miss the move of God because of our misunderstanding or wrong perception of His face, His character and His integrity.

Some of us are like the local weatherman. So many times we try to predict what the weather is going to be. But what I have found is like the weatherman we often miss the mark. Even with all of our understanding of the word of God, and all of our technology, skills, and degrees, the wind in our lives changes in a moment’s notice. Storms come out of no-where, tornados are spawned and climatic atmospheres change.
